major water leak, passenger and drivers

so i am driving 2 hours home tonight in a rain storm when i feel water dripping onto my left foot, right near the drivers side speaker, i then ask my wife to feel the floor by her feet and sure enough it was soaked. By the time we got home the drivers footwell was very wet and the passengers was full of water almost an inch above the carpet. the wetness starts at about speaker height and goes no higher.
Any ideas guys, i need to find this and then run a dehumidifier in the car for a few days once it is fixed.
thanks for any help on this one!
    cheers

Sunroof drain tubes are probably clogged. They're also made of plastic, so if they are cracked/broken, they will leak inside the car.

Take a piece of cable, like you use for TV and cut off the connector on the end.

Retract the sunroof and find the drain holes and push the cable into the drain holes to clear them.

I believe the fronts drain thru the plastic grill area behind the hood, and the rears drain thru holes in the trunk.

At least that's the way I remember it on my 86 325es

Check those front drain areas, where the plastic grills are to see if they are full of leaves, pine needles, any thing else that would prevent drainage and overflow/leaking.

          ok not sure

i took the front speakers out and found a drainage tube behind there, when i wiggle the tube it sounds loose and like it leads up to the sunroof. i am worried that there is no connection of the tube to the sunroof. i poured some water down the sunrrof drain and it came out near the front of the door from under the rockers.
if the tube was not attached would the water just drain into the space behind the speaker and then find its way out of the bottom drain holes? i looked on realoem and couldnt find any pictures of the drains in our cars. if anybody has any could you post them please?
          thanks guys

Could someone post some pics of the drain locations? The linked thread is full of red Xs.
