playing at deal's gap this weekend

I don't know how many of you have been to Deal's Gap/ Hwy 129/ The Dragon , but it is one the best driving rodes in the country, especially the east coast. I've been on a lot of fun roads in Sonoma, Napa valley and Petuluma CA , but there is something about going through the Cherohala Skyway then run thru Deals Gap and down Foothills Pkwy that makes a 5 hr. drive seem worth every second. If you guys on the west coast are ever out on the east coast this route is a must. I try to do this at least 3-4 times a year its awesome!! People come from all over the U.S. on bike trips and car club trips just to "run the dragon" for the weekend. Some people trailer cars ie Ferrari F50's, Lotus Exige's.
I just drove my 87 325is turbo, and sometimes my racecar, 90 civic hatch its prepped for h1 honda challenge spec. http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/...&ts=1092348481

      trinity

I've done Trinity, it had some nice, nice switchbacks, and if i am correct one turn that is like a 120 degree turn with a elevation change in the middle pretty badass. One of my buddies was going to Jim Russel for school and I came out and visited him during the ALMS race at Infineon we ran all the road within a four hour radius of the track and visited Dinans R&D facility, and hit all of the winery's I think?

Cool what day and time are you driving it? I may drive up from Chattanooga, if I have time.

Rs4pro3 i live in huntsville! when i get my car running i will meet up with you and mmagnusson and we will take the trip. My dad lives in the knoxville area and He has a E30 m3 and a E34 M5. He would be all about going up to the dragon. we went up there in the E30 not last weekend but the weekend before that. it was on sunday and then i found out about Killboy.com. he takes pictures of everyone and then post it. come to find out he wasent there that sunday when we went to race some bikes. It was a blast there where so many bikes there that said they could aout run us and there wasent but two out there that day that could out run us, and i dont know if they could but I met them coming my the opposite way and they where hittin it pretty hard. I only raced intermediate riders and i would have been able to tap thier back wheel with my bumper if i wanted to. Anyways it was a blast. LIKE THE CAR mmagnusson!!!
