Race #11 for the E30 PRO-3 series is September 13-14 at Portland Int'l Raceway.
There are over 20 PRO-3 cars entered for this race weekend. Good times!
The weekend is also a benefit for the local children's hospital. On both days they take a long lunch and give rides to both kids and adults. The adult rides are in some very fast cars, old Can-Am cars and such. A fellow PRO-3 driver got a couple lap ride in a Can-Am car, said he was wedged in what was barely a second seat. He said it was like lift off in the space shuttle. He feared for his life and it was the most fun he ever had. Donation is something like $20 to get a ride like that. Don't eat a big lunch before going out on a ride like this, you'll blow chuncks for sure.
