What's the best gas you can buy in your area?

For the past decade or so, 93 octane gas has been hard to find in Missouri, with most stations carrying 91 (or occasionally 92) as "premium." Recently, a few more stations have started carrying 93 again. Yesterday, however, was interesting. My favorite station has recently upgraded their premium to 94 octane. The M42 likes it.

      91 is it.

And I also buck up the extra .20-30 cents a gallon for the corn free stuff as well.

I like the 10% ethanol...keeps the fuel system cleaner and raises the octane rating a touch.

Hell, I'm thinking about building an E85-only engine for my Corvette - 110 octane FTW.

everything else is 93 or 94

It eats at your fuel lines and fuel system. Also burning a few hundred btu's cooler meaning you have to burn more to get the same gas mileage. If you want to bump up your octane rating a bit, drop a few moth balls in your tank.

110 octane fuels are leaded and pollutes the world, against every leftist out there.

The only thing I have found in Miami that does not carry the up to 10% is Chevron and that is different from station to station. I tried to go in and ask one night but they did not speak English. Anyone know if the stations have the choice to buy one or the other?

I didnt even know they sold 93 at public gas stations, here you have to go to a raceway to buy anything higher than 91
