How would you ship a rollbar?

UPS and DHL won't give me a quote because the dimensions are too big. I should have figured the thing was too big/wide/tall/heavy.

How would you ship my rollbar?

How would i set something like that up? who do i contact to do something like that?

same applies for greyhound. I've never shipped something so big before, so excuse my ignorance.

call forward air. just shrink wrap it up and drop it at a terminal they tell you to. ive shipped 2 this way. fairly cheap too. i ship all my engines via forward air. only catch is the recipient has to pick up at a terminal near them... no pallet needed

Whenever I did extended warranty replacements, they always freighted the engines to us. I recalled this URL off one of the stickers.

Freightquote.com. You can call a rep at freightquote.com to ask about the freight classification of the rollbar. If you set up an account you can get realtime quotes for freight shipments.

It is likely that you will get nailed if you are unable to drop off the rollbar at the freight terminal, because a residential access fee and liftgate fee (the hydraulic liftgate that allows the truck driver to load your freight onto the truck) is going to run around $150+ ($75 for each).

Thanks, I live about 20 minutes from the Philadelphia airport, so would that be the type of terminal I could drop this off at?
