is this worth it? wrecked m3

    I know someone who's selling his wrecked '99 e36 m3
He's asking $4500 cdn for it...is this a good deal?
how much more would it cost to install complete suspension setup+engine swap?
    thanks.

$O.00 with your own garage, and the resources of r3v's search function. Part it, use what you need.

how wrecked is it? and what took the hit? be careful with front hits. ive seen several with damage you cant see till its too late. carls for instance. lots of time was invested in his swap and when we went to fire it the crank was visibly bent. oil filter cannisters, alt bracket etc etc crack easily. all replaceable but something to think about. also, m3 specific body parts bring the money. if they are all trashed from the accident its not worth nearly as much. isnt 4500 canadian like 12k american now?

Like they've said, depends on where / how hard it was hit, might be a good price!

Pictures? Mileage? Being an E30 forum, you'll have to give us some more information for us to tell you whether or not it's a good deal. Also, being an E30 forum, you should get used to the occasional sarcastic remark or two.

you probably won't make much parting it. complete s52s with trannys can be had for 4 grand now, so you'd have to have another couple of grand worth of shit to sell to make it worth it imo.
