    Anyone ever use Leatherique?

I may have asked this before, but I couldn't find it.

Read some amazing praise stories on it and a couple horror stories. Has anyone used it with good results? I need to do it quick while we still have some Buffalo sun to bake it...

The whole idea of sanding my seats is a little daunting, but the leather really isn't in a spot where I'd consider reupolstering, just minor cracks and bolster fade, no rips. Seems like leatherique would do the trick.

I did my caddy seats and they softened them up nice, I did not crack fill or dye so I did not need to do any sanding. I like the rejuvenator and the pristine clean.

I used to look at the E36 section on bf.c, and they love it.

But are they okay to use on vinyl seats?

Not personally but a friend of mine did and I can vouch for the results. A+

I have a number of customers that use my dye kits, I do not have anything that softens the leather though. You can use my dye on vinyl as well. They used leatherique in the past but see to like the way my dye covers.

I've heard good things about the product.

If you have black seats, though, you can use shoe polish and some lexol. It's a cheap fix, but if memory serves you get a lot of black shoe polish, work it into the seats and let it set up, buff it out once it's dry, and then use the lexol conditioner over the top to somewhat seal it in. It won't rub off on your clothes and the seats look much blacker/better.

Yeah I used it for my cab seats. ALOT of work sanding, cleaning, priming. Its like painting. 90% of the results depend on your prep. I would set aside a solid week for front and back seats. Also note that one thing you can't repair is the thread. You will scuff up the threads while your preping. Also if seats are anything other than black, your best bet is to spray the dye on or the color will be uneven.

If I had to do it over again, I would just get the seats recovered. Too much work and will only last 3-4yrs with moderate light use.
