Hey guys, closing the shop, moving to Seattle

So yeah, not like Seattle proper, but Kirkland/Totem Lake.

Car Toys has hired me (and my big mouth) almost 10 years to the day that I left them, gotta love that. Assistant Manager (BFD, srsly) in the shop to start with, hopefully moving up the food chain before too long.

Should be out of here in about 2 weeks. Gonna build a pile of boxes and ship them, put the switch deal on hold for a minute.

If anyone knows of someone who needs a roommate in Kirkland area (damn close to the store I am going to be in) shoot me a PM. Quiet, clean, respectful, decent ammenities, daylight parties only kind of place.

Here is the crappy part: My GF, Kim, is gonna be staying behind while her son finishes High School. The kid works really hard to do well, and I want to see him succeed, so I am willing to be apart from her while he finishes.

Internet is going to be spotty for a short time, so anyone who needs to find me please be patient.

I am only going to be accepting Visa until the end of the month, so the boxes need to be sold in a big hurry, plus I have a couple of cars to do in the Portland area, gonna be there later this week.

We is gonna get some get-togethers happening in the Seattle area soon! You guys need to show me some roads and stuff.

I am really excited about this. My 3 weeks in Tacoma were so much fun, even though all I did was work and be stuck in traffic, I still loved it.

Oh yeah, before I forget again, I wanna post a HUGE public thank you to James (and of course, Will) for being so kind as to open their house to me.

I owe you, boys, and Kim owes you a 6er of Becks!

    Peace and groovies,
    Luke

    Closing SOON!

My dad just did this (left the firm he was a partner in, to move to a smaller city to start over) and so far it's worked out. So, good luck with everything and I hope it works out. I love the NW.

Best of luck in Seattle Luke! I truly feel like I am losing a big brother. Felicia and I will have you in our prayers, and know that you will be missed greatly in our area. Let me know if we can do anything to help out Kim or her son while you are gone.

Awesome to hear your making the move luke. That's one heck of a decision to pick up like that. Good luck with it all, and hopefully be around for a meet sooner or later.

Your going to be my neighbor! Seriously I know exactly where you are going to be working. I live in Bothell which is about 5 minutes away.

Thats too bad, my brother just got a roommate because he was looking. Hit up Craigslist for rooms for rent. Sounds sketchy but it can be really good (my brother found his last two people there that lived in his house). I'll keep my eyes peeled...my ex girlfriend needs a roommate but if you lived with her I'd have to kill you ;)

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.
