You think that makes you all shaky in the knees?

Go take a gander in the e30 "reifen und felgen" section. It'll make you nut your little underoos.

exchange rate is like something ilke the dollar is 70% of the euro, is there a way to translate it to english, i wish i could read half that shit, i find some sick parts that i wouldnt mind paying a little extra for shipping, however i dont know how to search so it takes me forever. tons of parts that are rare here are all over the place there too

I speak German, what are you looking at?

Also, babblefish (alta vista) does pretty good rough translations so you get an idea.

Beware though, don't bid on something without speaking to the seller first. Many don't want to deal with international shipping (just like many of us don't) and most don't use PayPal since transferring direct from one's bank account to someone else's is common practice there.

I've gotten a few things from Germany for my Euro Baur, but luckily I had a friend there to handle the transaction for me from her account.

One thing that you can also do is to change your search preferences from the US to Deutscheland and you will find some of the things advertised over there.

I usually surf eBay.co.uk since it's all in Engrish and they have access to the same parts.

The selection isn't as good as eBay.de, but the language barrier is not there if you need to communicate with the seller.

there are a lot of rare parts on there. Just shop by pic and if you see something you like ask the seller to help wit the translation and if they ship to the new world. I have bought a lot of stuff on ebay.de and ebay.co.uk all with great results

I got these for my m20 off ebay.de

I just used babelfish to find the german word for piston (kolben) and searched from there.

I have found that a lot are not interested in international shipping and wont do paypal but generally the experience is no worse than trying to get parts from the states (i am in Australia)

I had bad results. Won a item on german ebay and the guy dissappeared. I did not pay yet so no loss on my end but it did piss me off. Some german sellers aren't ready to deal with customs and international shipping.
