hey all Im Eric, 22, and i recently got myself a e325i mtechnic2. Im in the USAF doing veh maint. Im good friends with yan3 witht the red e30 m3. Im stationed with him here in germany. My car was in rough shape and its gona need allot more TLC. give me a month or 2 and it sould make a good driver and nurburgring car :).

So far i restitched the steering wheel which was falling appart and i put the passanger side fabric from another set of seats onto my driver side. They both came out real nice! I replaced allot of missing/broken small crap like window cranks and just lube up the locks which were stuck. I threw a coat of turtle wax color magic on it to cover up scratches and thats all i did so far.

Things on my list is stop all the leaks!!! Front main, valve cover, trans output diff output shafts. Then i need to put in almost all new rubber and ball joints, there all shot! A new timing belt, 2.5" exhaust, sport springs, bilstein shocks, brakes, strut brace, chip, red line fluids and the list goes on! yan has been a great help directing me on what to get and what not to get. I should have my hands full this fall but next spring should be a blast!!

Btw i payed $500 for it :)

Welcome to r3v Eric.That's an awfully clean $500 car you have there.Good pick up.I was expecting to see a beater judging by the way you were describing it's problems.I'm pretty sure you'll have it running tight by Christmas,if not ,you can sell it to me.

Yea it was full of trash+ french fries and the trunk left quarter pannel was flooded when i got it. Took a few days to get it looking this nice :)

I run into them here and there but there mostly trashed. What kind of fabric pattern are your seats?

just got a knock off "chettah" chip off ebay, Tomorrow im calling BMA and draining my bank :) cant wait to beef this bad boy up. Give it some real balls.

Im torn between buying cheapo brake pads or the hawk hp plus.. $220+ on pads seems like allot but my boy yan-3 says its worth it.. any1 have any input?

I have Hawk HPS pads (less aggressive than the HP+) on Brembo blanks with ATE-Super Blue synthetic brake fluid. They get the job done just fine (street and auto-x, but nothing too serious), aren't noisy, have a very short heat up period and don't create very much dust, oh and they're cheaper than the HP+ pads.

yea alex that was me with posselli at the parkin lot. Im good friends of yan's we should do some track time together sometime :) since hes out of here :(. Im here for another summer, extending a few months for a winter/spring in iraq, when do u pcs?

I got it for 500 bucks because the kid didnt know what it really was and he felt bad beecause it had so many things wrong with it. At first he said 1k then he said add up the parts cost for the crap it needs and subtract it. At first he said $450 after i said it would be 700 in parts but i only had 100s on me and felt bad so i gave him 500. I guess he didnt know the wing and body kit alone are worth 3x that :)
