    Vert/Cabrio Owners with hardtops...>

Is there some guide for bolting down the rear of the hardtop? I'm not sure I'm doing it right...

ALSO how does the two wires (one each side) hook up to the car? I'm assuming they are for the defroster lines...any help would be appreciated.

There are two pins in the hardtop that you just twist with a wrench to secure it to the car. If your car is so equipped there should be wires on or around the mounting points on the car. My car doesent have them but my dads 92 vert has them so im not sure if it was an option to get the hardtop pkg on early models and standard on late models. Here is a thread that might be helpful.

My '92 Cabby has the wiring for the hardtop, too.

So the thought is that the mounting points for the hardtop has the wires for the defroster integrated, I guess I should check prior to securing that bad boy down.

Pull the plugs up, you'll rapidly know if the pin wells have the wiring or not.
