    I haven't got mine yet. I know others have. I think they typically time it for you to receive the book after you take delivery, whether it be Euro or US re-delivery, i'm not sure.

          Its a commemorative book, with a copy of your VIN# plate in it and what # production car of 2008 you are, bound in the same leather or leatherette as the interior of your car (I think even interior color too!).

          In it are pictures of the Leipzig factory that assembled the 1-series, as well as some homage pics of the original 2002tii and design elements of the cars.

            the books are all white leather i believe and quite extensive on the the 135 from conception to the building of your particular e82 with your vin in it and a certificate saying its an official year one of the one car. mine came with a bmw mug with my name on it and "m power" cookies! Also got a cool lil dvd on the history of bmw and the things that make bmws different

                            Congrats on the car and the experience. I haven't been to Munich since the Welt was constructed. From what I hear it blows away the old museum. Thanks for sharing!
