    Anyone ship a rear seat??

I'd like to buy a rear seat from a forum member and would like to make the process of shipping as painless as possible. As well as get an idea of cost......

So any tips/info is much appreciated.

I am having a seat shipped to me. He packaged it by placing the seating surfaces together then giving it a wrap with cling wrap to keep it together and then put cardboard around the outside. IT was $40 from LasVegas to Buffalo, NY.

I sent an M3 seat. DHL had the best rtae compared to FedEx or UPS. Costs were about the same.

If you're near a major airport, try BAX Global. They have great rates on the big stuff.

Yeah, about $40 per half, I think, but the normal seats (not convertable/M3) should be about $40. The M3 seat is raised up a lot, and it put me just over the volume limit that jumped it up to like $150 if it was one package. UPS and FedEx have lower volume limits before they up-rate the shipping.
