    thinking of selling my beater

im thinking of selling my 85 eta. its been a fun car but i think im done with it. i would like to see what it may be worth as a whole car. im NOT thinking of parting it out at this time.

THE GOOD. just turned 100k timing belt done 20k ago, body very good came from L.A. about 2 years ago,NO RUST. h&r race with billy sports, turner chip, crack free dash. good condition sport seats, all gauges work, m3 front sway bar links, 4.10 lsd, brake coolers, brakes done in the spring, front and rear, front end is tight and needs no work. and a home made roll bar. it weighs 2200 lbs with me in it.

THE BAD. has a do it your self silver paint job, no bumpers front or rear, no carpet or headliner, the sunroof has been patched with a aluminum sign (it has been painted the color of the car) the rear sub frame bushings need some attention. the paint dosnt look too bad i just didnt spray the clear correctly, there are no runs in the paint.

this car is a blast to drive and does a fair amount of highway use, just not over 75 mph, if you guys could help me out with a price that would be great, thanks in advance. its located just north of boston. any questions feel free to ask.

If I compare it to my 86' ETA and what I paid, then I'd estimate your cars value at $375 (mine cost $500)

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Sounds like you'd get more out of it if it was parted out.

its looking that way, its a shame cause the body is soooooo clean and would make a killer auto-x car.

would be interested in H&R Race/Bilsteins if you part out.

If you part it, and if FredK backs out, I'm also very interested in the H&R Race/Billy Sports.
