    Now the work begins...

Just ordered the following for our "new" 325is. This is the car I just purchased with 69K original miles, and for the most part everything is in mint condition. Here is the list of what I'm going to do with all new parts:

Timing belt(Contitech), tensioner, water pump, T-stat, cam seal and O-ring
    All 3 belts (Contitech)
    All water hoses
Set the valves with new valve cover gasket and 4 plugs
Distributor cap, rotor and 6 plugs
    Oil & Fliter
    Fuel Filter
    Air Filter
New BMW antifreeze and Redline Water Wetter
ATE Super Blue Brake fluid flush along with SS Brake lines
New chrome front and rear window gasket locking strips
Redline MTL fluid for the 5-speed
Redline fluid for the rear dif
    New exhaust (cat back)

Some of the things may not be necessary, but since I am doing everything at once, I thought I'd just take care of everything.

Brakes, rotors and battery are almost new. The timing belt only has 35K miles on it, but it was done 6 years ago.

e30's are so easy to work on compared to others (including my e31), as there is so much room under the hood.

Still trying to decide to go one plus on the wheels with original 15x7 euro spec BMW basketweaves, or keep the 14 inchers on. I'll probably keep the 14's on, but am toying with the idea of switching.

    Can't wait to get started.

      pix of e31?

Sounds like a nice e30 you've got! Have fun with the inner rear ss brake lines, those are a major pain unless you drop the subframe at the same time.
