They are cheap, they are not heavy, 17lbs per wheel is not bad at all (style 002) and they are good wheels. People are just eGay haters. Out of all the horrible wheels out there, Sportmaxx are not on that list. If Sportmaxx doubled their price, a lot of r3vers would get in line.

As far as looks go... It's your car.

welcome to r3v, the east coast/NC e30 scene is almost making me regret moving west to W-P from W-S. except for in july when it's hot & humid as fuck there, and january, when we get daily snow here...

        pics!

That's pretty light, and 002s don't look too bad on the right car

It takes the right car to make sportmax look good. The car MUST be lowered. I see too many baby donk faded e30s with fucking brand new sportmax. Wheels are like the last thing you should do to your car. And IMO, if you spend years getting your car just right - it's not likely that you'll want to throw on a pair of sportmax and call it a day.

Don't tint your headlights, use the crosshair method to smoke your headlights

as for satin black, IMO, it doesnt look all that great unless done really well, and kept really clean, and even then...

and smoked tail lights do look good. esp on white or black car

Well in the ellipsoid headlights you insert these smoked crosshairs into the headlight, theres a DIY on the forum that'll tell ya all you need to know...

as far as late model styling, just pop a IS or volvo lip on there and lower it, and youre most of the way there.. But it's also fun to do stuff a little different..

Take it of a volvo 740, flip it upside down, bolt it a number of ways, and cut the ends off... I've got one they look like this :

                            and cost like 20$
