That sucks. I've had two hit and runs. It's chicken shit. That is why you pay for insurance is so that when you fuck up someone's car, the insurance pays for it. There is no need to "run" - plus it's a felony.

i have them ... just waiting for paint. also i want to fix this for less than $300? can i pop that dent and just repaint the fender.

Get a new fender, they are pretty cheap.

you can definatly do it for less then $300 if you have some painting equipment or know someone who does.

that fender is definately fixable. I hit a guard rail and ended up doing this:



i bought a new fender thinking i would need one but it turned out to be a hardtop fender so the shop just fixed the factory one.

and then i upgraded to plastics

It really isn't worth trying to fix that fender. I mean if you want to get at it with a hammer and dolly and leave it, that's cool. But if you are going to be repainting it, it is definitely better to just get a different fender and throw it on there. I got a straight one from Joe Funk for $75.

Be glad that you have the rubber baby buggy bumpers (aluminum bumpers). I have them too, and although larger, they protect a lot better than the plastic later style bumpers (I've had both on e30s). Good luck on getting it fixed.
