    long range fuel tank...cool part

    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...49&hg=16&fg=05

I just found out these fuel tanks were equiped on e30m3's. I assume they are available since it shows up on bmw's online parts store. Would be cool to extend the range of our cars a little.

They were available in Alpina and Hartge cars as well. Fill-ups in my H23 usually run over $80 dollars but my gas gauge doesn't move for a week :)

          Tischer lists it. http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214672

This would be very handy for me, thanks for the heads up! You gents that have or have had it, do you see any issues with retrofitting it to a standard 325?

Well, the link doesn't work, cut and paste the number.

How hard is it to swap out the gas tank?

No, this fits in your trunk. so you have 2 tanks. Adds about 5 more gallons of gas.

BTW heres some pics I found of the alpina. These are super rare.

Got any exterior shots of this car? I like the green color.
