Yep. You have to drop what you are doing to find the right car.

I talked to a guy at 9pm and hopped on a train at 5am in order to get a car.

Got up one morning at 5am to go buy a nice 86 Porsche 928 for $2,700. It was just under 2 hours away & I had to be back by 10am to go to work.

Needless to say, I got to work at 10:45am, boss was pissed and didn't end up losing my job. I re-sold it 5 days later for $6,500. The only money I invested was $40 to fill it up with gas and 3 hours washing it. :D

I was on my way to buy my Cabrio two hours after it appeared on craigslist.

The guy calls me and says "sorry, the car is sold. Someone just left a deposit and will pick it up tomorrow"

I email the guy later that night and tell him "If for some reason, your buyer can't come up with the balance, call me. I've got cash in hand"

As luck would have it, I left my cell phone at home the following day, but decided to send him an email from work.

The guy emails me back, saying he's been trying to call me. Turns out the original buyer couldn't come up with the balance, because the buyer's sale of his car fell thru and thus he didn't have the funds.

I tell my boss, I've need to leave early today.

A few hours later, I'm driving my Cabrio home, happier then a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles in prison.

Took over 6 months for me to find the right car and I almost missed out on it.

Same applies with cars as it does with women.

If you don't act right away, while the opportunity is there, you go home with nothing but your dick in your hand.
