    Latest Simulator Photos

I've been making quite a few improvements to the simulator, adding additional functionality as we go.

    Functional Components

Full OEM E30 Headunit with 6CD Changer
    HVAC Blower Motors
E-Brake - including light on cluster
Instrument Cluster - All Gauges work except the MPG Gauge
    All instrument lighting
    Ignition Key
Full 13 button OBC (Ave MPG, MPH Gong, Range, Temp "thanks George", all function)
    Improved Force Feedback

and finally, with the launch of GTR Evolution (http://www.gtr-evolution.com/) a BMW E30 M3!!

The next large phase will be a complete e30 frame to contain actual pedals, plus whatever else I can find....maybe working brakelights and turn signals!

You need the trim piece around the gauge cluster.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Holy shit man. So the cluster and the OBC tell you what speed you are travelling in the game and all of that? That is ridiculous.

          Amazing work.

            everybody's a critic!

the structure does not allow the cluster to sit far back enough for the trim to fit in place, once I have a real e30 chassis under it, things will be different.

                    Looks great!

Is the steering still kinda iffy?

Cuz it was like driving a semi truck when I was up there?

I wanted to help! :) I had that piece in my car at the meet. I would have hooked you up with it.

The thing is awesome by the way! We should have played that instead of going to Golden Gardens ;)

so many hours I cannot honestly talk.

I can however give a HUGE shout out to Funkypoo......Joe Funk for helping me find half this shit to build it.. i mean its a pain in the ASS to find a working E30 CD Changer and headunit combo... took me two changers and swapping parts to get one good working one.

We adjusted the dead zone, increased force feedback, and tinkered with the virtual steering rack settings.. its MUCH better.
