    New member and new car

Hey everyone. Just signed up to r3v and wanted to post pictures of my new ride.

    More pictures at: http://sjsewall.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=322
1991 318iS w/189000 miles, Limited Slip, no sunroof. Oh yea, and full maintenance records back to day one. PO put over $24,000 into this car, which is nuts. It's not without it's problems, but it's a great, clean car overall. I'm getting lots of vibration in the car which I think is a combination of motor mounts and a hole in the exhaust. Nothing a little money and elbow grease can't solve. :)

Nice car man, looks almost identical to my brother's old Brillantrot on Natur 318is. They're fun cars and that M42 is a hell of a motor. Has the car had a respray by any chance? The paint looks amazing.

Thanks. Yes, the car was completely repainted to the tune of $4000 in 1999. There are a few scratches here and there, but no rust that I can find anywhere. It needs a new lip, I know, but I'll find another one at some point. (anyone have a Brilliantrot lip? :p )

Haven't got a brilliantrot lip, but I have a brilliantrot painted valence blank (for the bottom part) in great shape if you are interested.

                              Not quite, lol.

Nice car! Good little score there. Would have caught my eye too!

Do get that apple sticker off. Just an ad for thieves that there is probly an iPod in there tucked away, even if there isnt, they will bust in to look for anything.
