My dads buddy bought a red R/T but with an auto (he has a bad left knee) And i still think they need to offer a vinyl top for them. Also i wonder if they will offer an SE with the smaller back window? But will still need a vinyl top!

Ugly, I think current Mustang is better looking, and next Camaro will be better looking too. What's up with NSX looking lights on a dumpster truck looking rear?
Pontiac GTO was the American car that had my blood flowing. And current GTO is by far my favorite American attempt at a new age muscle car.

I would get that exact car, with custom plates that said:
VNSHNGPT
If you need it explained to you, you can just go to hell.
OA-5599 Would be more fitting. And, it has to be white.

And the latest GTO was a lame attempt at trying to push a restyled Australian car on a US market that ended up failling.

I understand US automakers have always been a hundred years behind, and yes I am shocked Challenged doesn't have wooden wheels.
Aussie GTO is a performance vehicle, with v8 power and a decent suspension. I know that suspension officially eliminates it as a muscle car. I also know that because new GTO has no drum brakes, it just can't be a muscle car.
Old challenger wasn't pretty either, it's sentimental baby boomers that automakers are after, but it doesn't make those body styles any better looking.
Worldwide cars become more aerodynamic and more efficient, Americans with gas at $4 per gallon are building WWII tanks. Thought 80's gas crisis taught someone a lesson, guess not.
I always thought that if you're going to reinvent something old, it should be better. Instead we see a new Challenger. Uglier, heavier, and overcomplicated. I can't wait to see new Challenger go head to head against old one on a drag-strip.
I like classic muscle cars. I like looking at them. There's something truly inspiring about them. Testament to American prowess. All this new reincarnations are plain jokes. Since American market has been opened wide by other manufacturers, American automakers are adding insult to injury, allowing their 20th-century muscle cars go up against 21st century regular cars. No wonder all American car companies are working together to stay afloat while recording losses.Last edited by Aptyp; 10-11-2008, 08:13 PM.

You do know it's just a re-badged Holden, right? It's not even American!Last edited by Jand3rson; 10-12-2008, 12:32 PM.

These things are damn near truck size in person I thought. There are a few styling cues I like, but in general I think it's INCREDIBLY bland (except from head on). It's got a Hemi, but it also weighs two tons and probably wallows around like a bitch.
I'll take something with some shape to it. Gold or not... *cough*'88 528e /// '88 M5 /// '89 951 /// '98 E430 /// '02 M5
