Any interest in a modular exhaust? m20, s50, turbo, etc....

I have been thinking about making exhausts for the e30. I just want to see what you guys might want, see if its feasible to go through with.

I want to do a complete exhaust system up to the manifolds. I also want to have exhausts for my turbo kits that will be out soon. I'm thinking of utilizing a modular dual 2" stainless mandrel bent tig welded exhaust system, with a hp limit of around 350. For more hp maybe a single 3 or dual 2.25". My ultimate goal is to have everything as bolt-on as possible.

So what do you guys want? full m20 exhausts? m42 exhausts? turbo/race exhausts? Maybe even m/s5x swap exhausts? cats, no cats? Give me some input. I'd like to gauge interest.

EDIT: if there is any interest in a matching tuned intake/chip setup to go along with the exhaust, I can do that too.

I would definitely be interested in a mandrel bent, stainless steel exhaust of some type...

The more flexible you can make the application, the more bites you'll certainly have. Maybe design a catback-type for the e30 itself, with the option to install a race pipe, a catalytic converter (high flow or normal), and then headers down from the various engines that the exhaust in question will bolt right on to without any drama...

Heres some photos of the turbo proto:

Getting the ems dialed in...needs a bit more refinement in some non-critical areas and it'll be pretty much done.

Mostly done test fitting the proto parts. e30 setup, and different stages are obviously going to be different.

Final turbo kits will have a good amount of options, not just set in stone. I'm thinking of offering a range of different turbos, small to large, budget to baller.

I'm working on a price estimate for the exhausts right now, just tossing out the ideas.

And by modular, I mean there will be options to customize mufflers and cats to maybe hi-flow cats or straight race pipes. of course, making it easy for change by adding flanges to these parts therefore making them short sections which are easy to change/upgrade.

Keep the posts coming. Convince me

Definitely interested in a divided flange (3 into 1 x2) turbo manifold that'll fit something like a gt35.

Shit. This is quite a rabbit hole, my friends.
