changing my timing belt... a little "uh oh"

old water pump on left, new water pump on right

notice the extra nozzle on the old water pump? This was connected to a vacuum hose that goes into the engine. Am I screwed?

    You have a 325e, you got a 325i 88+ water pump

PS extra water hose goes to the reservoir

On later models hose is molded to have an outlet to the reservoir on the driver side.

not nessisarily and e/i thing... its a late/early cooling thing. 87i's have the left style, but 88 e's have the right style.

            You must have early cooling.

I just finished changing my timing belt and everything... luckily, Kragens had a water pump for my car in stock.
