    alexw and sl0ride head to the Nurburgring! (lots of pics)

    Second trip made on October 26th. More Photos!

    These pictures have just been resized no post processing done. If you want larger images or more of a certain car, just let me know. I took about 400-500 pictures and only am posting a few.

    This first car is owned by someone near my house, I thought I'd take a picture of it. It's not too bad, it appears to have a LTW spoiler (from the E36). I could be wrong.


    Here are some of the trip there:







    When we got there we went to park in the grass and found it to be crazy muddy. Our cars got filthy and we both almost got stuck. This is just the aftermath of that, unfortunately we had no video of us attempting to get to the parking lot.

      The track was closed for about 3 hours while we were there. Word was 2 separate accidents involving motorcycles. I got out and started taking pictures.

                                  BMWCCA!!! This guy apparently was visiting this older guy in the passenger seat. He wasn't super talkative. Apparently he owns a 95 M3 and something else. He was all decked out in M Power gear.


                                  Look at that sick intake shield!

                                  Finally the track is back open. The first run was in sl0ride's M-tech 2.

                                          Then it was my turn, I did two laps, by then the track was closing.



                                          (ignore the faces I couldn't see with the sun in my eyes, and i was swearing at bikers)






                                          This white E30 m3 that keeps popping up in the pictures was quite interesting. The guy didn't speak great English, but he said his engine was from a M1 race car, and had a M6 head?? He also said he had the original 92 DTM Chassis # on all the body parts... Again, hard to understand this guy. You engine guru's may have a better explanation then that, but I snapped a few photos for ya.
