Quick question for you guys, I'm getting some work done at a shop and while it's there they said they can do a markD chip for my 318is, but they said they can get it emailed to them and they can burn it themselves onto the ECU, now I know this is possible for OBDII cars, but I thought you had to buy a physical chip for OBDI ECUs, is this possible?
shop tryin to rip me for a markd chip?

I did email him this morning, but am yet to hear back from him, the shop said they buy from him directly and burn them at the shop, I just wasn't aware that there was a way to "burn" an obdI chip.1990 S50 goodness.Comment
