Quick question for you guys, I'm getting some work done at a shop and while it's there they said they can do a markD chip for my 318is, but they said they can get it emailed to them and they can burn it themselves onto the ECU, now I know this is possible for OBDII cars, but I thought you had to buy a physical chip for OBDI ECUs, is this possible?

btw MarkD/EAT does NOT sell the software alone, only in hard (physical chip) form!1989 cirrisblau-metallic 325i
