    What's this M3 worth??

I have a chance to pick up this M3 for what I think is a pretty good price. It's a '91 all stock, only 52k miles, original owner car.

Can I get some opinions on what it might sell for?

I'd go higher, towards the $15k if he gets the car cleaned up a bit. That is low miles and the picture you provided not many body parts hurt. Heck he can probably get more than $15k.....

A local '88 M3 w/~30k miles on it, in concours condition, recently sold for about $25,000.

        I'd edge up towards 15k.

I think I can get it for $14k but I don't want to keep it. I'd only buy it if I could make something on it. I was thinking with it cleaned up and the right buyer that kinda mileage might bring close to $17,500 or so. If it wasn't red I'd want to keep it myself.

You'll need full comprehensive history, proof of clean car/title/no accidents, a full go -over by a mechanic who knows S14's and no major maitenence needed to get 17.5.

Probably have to sit on it for a while too, but that wouldn't hurt my feelings much

before i do anything about finalizing a price, you should do your homework on this car. Run carfax, have a pre purchase inspection, view all maintenance records.... To me 52k miles sounds too good to be true for a 13 year old car.

I do that on every car I buy, this would be no different. Buying a car isn't something new to me, just not sure on price ranges on a low mileage, one owner M3.

There is no fair market price for this vehicle. If there was, they all would be selling for kelley blue book value. This is purely a situation of what you are willing to pay.
