I've read every post on this forum pertaining to an m5/s50 swap. as well as bimmerforums.com. i know how to use the forum search feature

What happen to all this community and information sharing thats supposed to go on here? Everyone says "hey if you have any questions about it just ask." Well i did and the tread got locked. not even a chance for anyone to reply.

By the way i'll be doing the work myself and working and going to school and raising a family. Its long nights after my daugter is asleep.

Listen all in all im a carnivore of knowledge I'll take all I can get. I own a e30 and that puts me above all other car owners out there so I should atleast get some respect for that.

well, its expensive. E30s in general are cheap, and people that usually buy cheap cars usually cant afford a $10K motor swap. That much is certain.

Being not the one that locked your thread I cant speak of the logic BUT I can attest to the fact that you could have easily posted into one of those threads since the S50/52 topic was the whole point of those threads. Its much easier to have all the information in ONE comprehensive thread (hence the title "comprehensive DOHC swap thread") instead of 60 different threads about 60 different aspects of the swap. Its impossible to search through all those different threads for one aspect.

Also your question was solely subjective. Opinions are like assholes. Some people can justify a stroker M20, and M30, or an M/S50. Its up to you to analize the FACTS and COSTS and decide for yourself. Also someone who is going to school and trying to raise a kid might have bigger uses for his money than making his 15 year old car fast (not that I have much room to talk right now).


Finally, what you see as an injustice is going to happen. This thread clearly states that there wont be a big uprising against Jordan because he locked your thread. If you have a question or concern contact any member of the staff. I personally have a $5 fine for whining. 8) Please remit to my paypal addy immediately.

BTW, I also own an E30. I get no respect. I dont think its better than everything else (except Neons, those are the biggest peices of shit evar!).
