    Quickie?

My brothers front crossmember on his 318i/'91 is completely rusted, the bolts that hold the swaybar in place and and the crossmember itself are gone, so here's my question.
Will any e30 crossmember fit? late or early? or will it necessarily have to be off, of a 318. I need the answer quickly, as I am about to make a $65 dollar purchase that is nonrefundable.

    Thanx for the help,
    Edwin

late model 90-91 4 cyl and 6 cyl use the same subframe. i would guess this holds true.
i just ran the numbers in realoem to check that. you could do the same to confirm that was the case for early ones but id say yes
EDIT i ran an 84 318 and that uses a different number. figure out what year youre buying from and go from there so you dont waste your loot. theres more differences than i thought
