Carfax is really unreliable. My first car was a '93 maxima and the first week i had my license I hit ice and started to slide (didn't know how to drive) and I hit the brakes hard. Shit slid sideways into a curb and tweaked the frame. I had a body shop repair it properly and when I sold it the dude ran the VIN on carfax and it didn't show that accident or the one that the PO told me about when I bought it.
