Bought another one

Clean E30s are getting hard to find... so, I couldn't pass this one up when it came up at the salvage auction. It's a 91 with 130k. It's hit in the rear, but very fixable. What can you e30 geniuses tell me about the differences in a 91?

91 and earlier models... I can see that the radiator is configured differently for one thing.

I'm into the car less than 500.

The repair shouldn't be too hard if you have a frame rack, which I do. I'll have to whack off the right rear corner and replace it.

So nobody knows the differences in 91s? Somebody told me he thought they didn't make any "IS" models in 91, but that some of the "I" models had "IS" options like limited slip, etc.

I assume you mean compared to other late models, since you have one in your sig. Also I assume you have an 89, since your radiator is different, I don't know that 89 and 91 are different, i just know my 90 has the same radiator set up as the one pictured. the 88 and 89 had ellipsoid headlights, 90 and 91 didn't. But yes, the 91 never came in iS, but you could get a sport package for it, it doesn't look like that one has anything extra though, just looks like an i.

Looks like that one has cruise control though, and bav auto spark plug wires

In 1991, the cars weren't badged as 325is....they were 325i & they either came with sport pack or they didn't.

it has iS side skirts, iS rear spoiler, sport seats, and a LSD if optioned etc.
