    Breake lights acting wierd.

    Is this normal.
When I park the car. Let it sit for a while, then attempt to open the boot,
    the brake lights start blinking.

Then don't stop blinking until I go inside the car, turn the car on the turn it off.

They blink when I open the boot, is that normal?

you probably have an aftermarket alarm doing funny things.

      Hmm funny.

Some time ago I checked under the steering wheel and there were some things in there that pointed towards an alarm.

Some of the wires were cut but some were still connected.
Is there a way to get the alarm back on?

I started a thread sometime back with pictures of what I found under there.
      I'll find.

So Luke ... Who is your father?

So, is there a way to try and turn the alarm back on?
I remember reading about a $20 alarm mod back when I joined R3V.

yeah sounds like a bug caused by an aftermarket alarm system that was probably wired to blink the lights when you lock it,

or you are triggering the alarm when you open the trunk

if you wanna get rid of the problem go back under your steering column and just disconnect all the stuff goin into the alarm box
