there was a bit of a drop on the rear of my car... it was about 1/2" if i recall. probably due to the weight difference. i could not be happier with the ride/handling setup on my cabrio after this swap.

I see a drop, prob about 1/2 to 3/4 inch!

was the 'after' with or without spring pads?

no change to oem pads. furthermore, here are some additional reference pix

                      difference in front springs

                      difference in rear springs

hope this info helps. i love the setup.

So I put them in the '91 coupe I am building today.

There is no motor or tranny in the car

The rear came down 1 full inch.

The front came down only 1/4".

                            Odd, huh?

Sounds about right...once you have a motor/tranny you'll likely see another 1/2" up front.

See? Forget all you haters and your "not even a 1/4 inch" BS.

I'm dropping my '89i on some m3 springs, end of story
