My Cherokee R/T Ready for TATT 2004 Internatioanal Challenge

Well, I almost finished my Cherokee Overhauled R/T 4.6L Stroker (soon to be turbo) for the 3th time, a sudamerican challenge called TATT, originally from Argentina.

Are like three days, are like 5 different challenges, one is with GPS and maps based, you have to go at the pre estabilished way point that is asigened, like 20 in total and you have a limit time. You have to take one digi pic in every way point to get score.

Then we have another challenge, similar but in the night! Then another , Endurance type and the last day we have to digand make the way in a big hole already made of 3 meters of hegit for 4.50 mters of wide ( I just don't know how much is in feets, but is a big damm hole, higher than any person)

and we have to make our own way in it, adding sand bags, enagaging the locker and all those techniques, will be pretty funny, wet will be the king in our skin, whY???

beacuase all the challenge is the DESERT!!

I already dropped some vynil in my XJ will take some pics of it tomorrow and will psot them up here!!!

    stay tune!!

well, here are finally some pics, my apoligies for the angles of the pics, I just didn't have to time to take nice pics of it, but will do when I'in the challenge.

Here are the ARB's lockers Dana30 and Dana44

We had to use a tow truck to carry my Jeep in tot he big truck that will go to the challenge place, like 500 miles away from here.

I took those pics few moments ago...

                  An Aux Battery

Some other stuff to send to the north from little towns...beer, fodd, etc etc

PS: Yes, I know, I have to dropp a 5 or 6 point harness and wrap the rear seat in grey cloth, I didn't have time to do that...but will do later...oh, btw, the place where I carried my Jeep is a poor poor porr zone of the city, sorry for the crappy site

simple, because I won't drive the Jeep like 800-900KM from here with those tires, the uncomforty that is now inside and will watse a lot of gas....also the representative Jeep brand is sponsoring me and they are paying for most of the cost of all of this

How much of a lift are you running to clear those tires?

My folks are looking to dump their '96 ZJ, the big POS that it is, and I'm thinking of picking it up cheap, slamming some 31's or 33's on it, and just mudding it until it totally dies.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

i think 2 inches could clear 31's... I love to trim body panels though, so I would try to rush 35's on like a 4" lift

Honestly, if you plan on beating the zj up anyway, chop it up and fit a big tire with no lift.

Just sawzalling the bitch is probably going to be my eventual plan, I was just humoring the lift idea.

I'm not "new" to jeeps really, had an XJ for a while, sold it to get into e30's and such. Just never really bothered to look much into the YJ's, figure this might be fun.
