ya i just put some new springs on my car yesterday when it was raining (in our shop though) and I could tell it was alot easier to loose traction afterwards. I am still looking with my dad for some tires that will work better in the rain. we are looking for some 225 rains for my car that we will also be able to use for racing. I have slowed down alot the last couple of days makeing sure that I am not going to crash my car.

I haven't seen a 225 rain tire.
225 is pretty wide on an e30, and I'd say unsuitable for a weather tire.
You won't spin the tires like you would with a stock bottlecap 14x6 but you will risk hydroplaning more with the wider tires. From the way you're describing your driving, I'd be worried you'd ass-around into a telephone pole or slide under an SUV before the winter is up.
