    PICS request: original stereo wiring

So, I think that my car's stereo was stolen while the PO had it. All of the wires were just cut and there are a bunch of scratches on the HVAC console. So, can anyone give me a pic of the original stereo, out of the dash but still with all the wires plugged in? there seems to be some extra wires and I want to know which ones go where.

I'll try to post a pic of the mess in my dash.

I think that the three wires on the left are for power, ground, and power antenna. The two that are tied together and tucked in appear to have been severed for no reason and should be spliced. The two on the right go to the speakers. This much I have deduced from some logic and a wiring diagram.

The two in the middle I can't figure out. Any input? Have I got the others right?

You should show a pic of the back of your radio so we can tell you which wire goes where. Maybe out stretch the wires nicely so we can see what all you're working with?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Will do, but the wires can't come out much further. There's not much slack.

            Are there 9 different wires?

Blue and yellow are audio to the fader.

1 white is power antenna, the other is amp turn on.

What deck are you putting in?

I'd steal a factory stereo. The two that come to mind are the CD43 BMW Business, and the oem ones made by McIntosh like this one: click here You should see McIntosh's car audio stuff, its so classy.

*I wouldn't really steal them, but I'd like to have them.
