    rotor and brake time.

i also got new brake pads. these are only the front rotors and pads because im broke and could only afford these right now lol. ill get the rears next pay check. ill be changing them tomorrow with my friends dad. he works on his 196x austin healey and is always..aaaaalways asking me questions about my little e30 ;) he digs it.

my question is will i HAVE to bleed the brakes? also, ive been looking at a few DIY links..but none have pictures. im a visual learner, not verbal. any assistance or advice before i jump into this project?

What did they cost ya and from where??

You dont need to bleed the brakes. Leave the one pad in on the piston side and compress the piston with a big C clamp.
Make sure you take the cap off the res and when your doing it go real slow.

i got the front rotors from tire rack i believe..37 for the fronts, each. and i got the brake pads at fap99.com they were 50+10 bucks for shipping. i realized i could have bought some for a little bit cheaper..AFTER i sent the order through lol. oh well, i got wicked excited when the brown truck came :D

and thanks dude. wooo! that eases some stress. haha.

If you havent flushed your brake system since you bought it you should do that. Its beyond bleeding, but should be done at least every other year. I do mine once a year at least.
