Very lame.... I've heard of people re-drilling rotors. Redrilling a hub just isn't smart.

actually it's done more then you may think. Alot of the A2 VW guys do it for a cheap 5 lug swap and some companies even sell redrilled hub kits. Of course for VW, you can just buy 5 lug rotors to swap on so you don't need to drill those, the rears are a direct fit (no hub just remove rotor and bearings and install new 5 lug units) and the front the 5 lug rotors match right up to the redrilled 4 lug ones.

I thought VW guys just ran spacers which had 4 lugs on one side and 5 on the other? :?: :?: ?

What a waste of an MTech2 kit. It'll be a shame when his hubs crack, his wheels fall off, and he skids into a tree while ruining the kit. What a dumbass. I hate people.

What's the big deal about drilling in hub's? I mean this guy wants his car to be like that, let him, you guys are making a big deal out of something small because his car looks out of the ordinary. I say, He gave his bimmer a retro Benz look. As long as he isn't drilling holes in his oil pan, what's the deal?

                        ^^^

                        retro benz look ?????

That paint job is nasty. If the whole car was that tone of white and didnt have those wheels, it could look good.

what the hell are those canadians thinking

                          ^^

It's original, it's unique. Those colors are a good contrast, some people don't like some colors. Having the dedication to go ahead with something that is out of the ordinary like that, which still looks good, runs, and handles well (assuming he did he a suspension kit with those wheels...) is good enough.

It stupid... and you're not only jeopordizing yourself, but other people on the road.

Drilling holes in the oil pan would be better. It would atleast quickly render the engine useless, and keep the car off the road.
