Yeah you can, you just drill the little mounts into the interior C-pillar.

    <1 hour job.

I haven't ordered it yet, I'm still trying to figure out what's involved with the E30 M3 antenna swap. I might take you up on that plug though, check your mailbox in a few minutes.

Go buy a ford focus antenna. Mount it on the roof.

He is laughing because it appears that you do not understand how something simple like an FM antenna works. Simply sticking an antenna on the roof isn't going to do dick shit besides make your car just that much uglier.

Either that or your extremely poor at conveying sarcasm.

Thread of the year. This is epic.

FM radio mount > wiring. It seems.

TDE30, don't worry. You merely need to sand a little patch where the antenna mounts, because it grabs the radio waves out of the air by being grounded to the chassis.

not the e30 m3 one. it has a rubber seal between it and the roof. just carefully mark the location and drill a hole in the roof. wiring is simple, remove the sunvisor panel and a pillar trim for wire routing. route the wires under the dash, pull the radio, and plug the plug in the back of the radio.
