Everybody's sticking their noses in the air like it's a Del Sol. The kid didn't want to spend $1,000 + on a paint job and was sick of his 20+ yr old factory job, I think it's hilarious, it's got a nice rugged look to it, too.

I'm sure he's got taste, he just might be wiser then most here and know it'd be stupid to blow that money untill he was significantly older.

It would be one thing if the paint job were at least half ass well executed, but it's not. Homeboi had a couple tall-boys of the 211 and got the wild urge to paint the car the same color as his unwiped taint. In this moment of grain alcohol fueled brilliance it didn't occur to him to mask anything to at least give the illusion that he gave a shit. Then he goes and posts pictures of it like it's the cat's ass and expects to get a bunch of props.

no doubt, everyone on this forum is mostly spoiled or rich. I'm not disrespecting people though. I'm on this forum ALOT, and i've seen alot worse than what I did to MY eta.

I also know you all are entitled to your opinions which is why I will save myself the trouble of trying to fend off all the flamers. I'm sure you guys dont like it now but give it a few months and i'm sure most of you will take your remarks back .

Although this isn't a plastic bumpered, mtech one kitted, sportmax 001 rim sportin, mtech stripes down the corner of the hood... one thing this eta is, is DIFFERENT.. and most definitally not offended as it gets it's love where it counts. Not in it's appearance.

Also in my defense, the front bumper is sitting in my shop, i just didn't put it on for the pictures. The euro lip (that most of you DONT have) is getting matching brown paint.

Right now the car is sitting on Dinan IX springs and bilstein struts. I got them for a steal and they handle great, they just look like 4 by 4 springs cause they're meant to carry the weight of the AWD Drivetrain.

Alex, (s52 e30), I hope your not serious dude. It's not THAT bad by any means. We still need to meet up. Mo just got an ES, and you know that thing is getting a rattle can paintjob.

here are pics of it before. i know the paint was nice but the clearcoat was coming off in places and i'm brown, so i figure my car should've been too.



btw, here is the thread i started when i picked this thing up for 400 bucks. yes 400 bucks. hopefully you will understand the paintjob a lil bit more after reading this thread.

IMO best looking front end. Euro grilles, H1 and H4 lights, Euro valence, with the euro lip. Oh yeah, DB's are the shit. :p :p
