    Big problem and need help

    ok so my friend and i were going out tonight and when i went to open the passenger door from the inside the door handle was like really tight and would only come out a tiny bit. the door wont open at all and when i put the key in the passenger door on the outside and turn it hardly turns at all. i really need to fix this but dont know what to do??? do i need to take the door panel off? if so how.

      no you cant open the door at all

      and its like permanently locked and the driver door wont lock

        i dont know exactly how to fix it but there are three screws that need to come out to take off the panel. all three on the armrest or what ever. two on the horizontal part and a black little piece at the top of it that needs to come off to get to the screw and then you have to kind of force the panel off. all you need is a phillips to get it off. hope that helps

                Something is stopping your passenger side door from unlocking.

                If you take the time to take your door panel off you can see how the locking system is supposed to work and find what's getting in the way.

                  or it could just be jambed... Is the belt caught in the door?

                  Try leaning on it from the outside while operating the lock (don't force it to the point of busting the handle).

                  If no go...pull the panel

                    +1 on the lock actuator. It could have possibly gone bad. Not a big deal to replace and most junk yard cars have them in working condition so you could snag one of them.

                        be a loner like me and just finish it and take the passenger seat out. I dont like the way most of my friends treat my car anyways. fuck it weld it shut for regitity.:up:
