    yeah, or you could just go from the grill so you dont lose the highbeam. I have yet to measure flow but i will eventually. the true flow filter supposedly filters a bunch better than the stock paper filter but who knows.:)

    NOTE-louder than airbox, does not heat up as long as the car is moving, even at speeds of 20mph the intake temps dropped down to the outside temp.

    I believe if the stock box got air from a better source it would be just as cool as the conefilter/shield and cold air duct, but the stock box doesn't sound as good & doesn't filter as well.

    I'm reinstalling my CAI stuff now.

    nice job! I want to measure the pressure differential between the airbox and ambient (and also the throttle body and intake manifold). I just need the time to buy a bit of vacuum hose.

    his filter blocks more dirt than a gauze cone filter,paper filter and gauze filter.
    the number 1 reason I have a cone filter to start with is because of the M30 AFM.
    before I got new injectors and M30 AFM my car wouldn't shift even half as hard as it does now, but this could be because my old injectors were dirty, and I live at 6000ft elevation so my car basically needs all the air it can get.

    I'm testing stock air box tommorow at 2:00 I will be doing the exact same drive as before.
    It will be done with the plastic piece behind the lights in place. I will do an 100% honest test, The sensor will be placed in the airbox. I will also test what changes when I hook the CAI tube to the stock air box from the grill location.

    I know, its been said a few times, this isn't aimed at the people who like there airbox, its aimed at the people who install conefilters without shields, and who remove there headlight thinking its giving them ram air. the stock air box is very well designed, but some people dont like being stock.

    I'm off to pick and pull now to go get an airbox to test, I dont see how the temps could be cooler than the outside temp but I'm very willing to give it a try. If the temps are equal to outside temps, I'll admit that the stock airbox works very well. I'll continue to sell these because that means they aren't losing any performance when buying this, they get a nice looking 8" cone filter and they get the sounds that come with it.
