I've been on bf.c for a while, but I'm slowly moving over here for my e30 needs. They're pretty worthless, and I find myself answering questions a lot more often than getting answers to mine.
Actually, I would say sites like this one and other E30 forums have made me spend close to $40,000 on five different E30's in the past eight years. No, that is not a misprint and it is very sobering to see that figure. I am not sure if that was a good thing or not?
And I won't even get into detail of the nine other BMW's I have owned during these same eight years...that $40k figure goes SUBSTANTIALLY higher....

There are few things more expensive than a cheap BMW...
A couple of those where E30 M3's, purchase price including some maintenance-but mostly purchase price. Then 2 325is's and one 325-and most of those were maintenance cost. Hell, it's probably more than $40k...but I would rather not think of the actual figure right now.

If i havent found r3v i would be OK with my crappy m20 swapped 316, but now i HAVE to spend more than my car actually costs to buy a M/S50-2, search to the 24v forums, tear my crappy e30 to pieces to see if the "comprehensive 24v swap" forum is what it claims.
So screw r3v and get a Honda.(j/k)
Props to all the fellows here that keep the forum ALIVE.(and our pocket dry)
