What diff came stock in the '87 325is?

while we are on the subject. Do you think diff addictives are bad i put some stuff called ecu torque. I was told it was good stuff but it seems like my lock up is very week and wants to spin one wheel for second before the other brakes loose.

from what i read on the forums, additives decrease lockup, someone said something about race cars just use gear oil or something so they can have better lockup.
