has anyone ever taken apart an analog clock? I want to paint the needles red to match my cluster.

Yes, it comes apart very easy. You can take it apart from the front. Everything just snaps into place.

done it several times. just be mindful of how everything goes together when you take it apart and be gentile with the clips.

FYI: a little tape and a red paint pen will do the trick nicely, if you get some extra on the center of the clock, just use a NEW Sharpe to re black it

and remember which side the + and - go on. i didn't the first time and had to take it apart to redo it.
