I find soccer boring to watch. Hell, I was watching the Euro Cup in Germany and even those fans didn't make it too much more interesting. The England/Portugal game was great though.
UNHCLL, you live in New Hampshire correct? Not exactly the state with the football upbringing.

I'm a bit of an FSU fan (my brother went there), and that game is great, but the FSU vs Florida game is even better.Originally posted by MattE30Well I guess I should be saying Go Boilers, but I am an FSU fan at heart!
FSU vs. Miami on Labor Day!!!
I'm also a Syracuse Orangeman fan, as its my alma mater. Go Orangemen!

I cannot wait until the game versus the Hoosiers. We will smash them as usual, and I'll get wasted with my friends that went to IU.

Boring? I think college ball is the most exciting sport there is. I'm a pro football fan too (go Bears) but college, the atmosphere, the teams, it's all so great.Originally posted by UNHCLL

Um, may I say being in the student section at a Big Ten game is FUCKING AWESOME!
Having friends crowd surfing or hoisting them up after touchdowns, and screaming our lungs out.
Favorite new one: "You can't score!" Blow-out, 51-0. 8)
And pregame at our place was cool, RIGHT next door to the stadium!

Those are the steps to our place.

The stadium is the big, tall brick building on the left. Literally across the street from our appt building.
Oct. 16 - Wisconsin
Oct. 23 - Michigan
Nov 13 - Ohio State
Nov. 20 - Indiana

For the Big Ten, "Go Boilermakers"! For the SEC, "Roll Tide, Roll!" I'm from Indiana and went to Purdue but I lived in Alabama for 16yrs. before moving back. I'll root for them both. If they end up playing each other I suppose I'll have to choose. LOLComment

51-0 GO BOILERS. Right now it seems our team may have been a bit underestimated by the "experts" I can't wait till we play Indiana.
P.S. Isn't it strange that we have like four Purdue students on this forum but nobody from Indiana University, Illinois, Michigan State, etc.

From my work at a BMW dealership, i see a shitload of Purdue plates or parking stickers. Seems the two go together. (engineering + business) But of course, there are a few IU peps in there from time to time, (doctors, lawyers).
Strange though, yes.
