Yes just check the ECU. Chips get mailed from Ohio via USPS every Monday, but the order has to arrive by Saturday for it to be processed and ready to mail, as that is usually done on Sunday.

I'm really busy with contract firmware I'm working on, but my plan is to come around and answer questions in this thread every few days. Of course you can still email questions, that is preferred to PM's mainy as PM's have a limited size.

did you take a baseline hp mark of the engine with m20 electronics.
Ive gotta say if this works and can be done for less than $400 it wouldnt be too bad.
FYI Custom MarkD tune for Motronic 1.3 cost me $250 so the rest of the game better cost less than that or youd probably be better off megasquirting, atleast that way you can have some adjustability

    meh

it works but needs a tune

this thread is in reference to the following on e30tech:

    basically

guy has m20 running on m50non vanos
    needs tune

Why would you do that when you can get all of that from MegaSquirt for 1/4 of the trouble.

You can reply to my PM here if you like.

So, wait a sec, why wouldn't you just swap an entire m50 into your engine bay? I would think you'd see better gains and more options as far as tuning goes.
This is a hopeless post isn't it...
