I have cleaned my uderbody plastic (under my oil pan) and I loved it since it was all greased and dirty. But now I want to clean my engine bay and my diff pumpkin that is thick with grease. Can I do this? Or would it do harm?

i wouldn't do the engine bay with the pressure washer...might be too strong and damage something...just use a spray on engine cleaner degreaser and just wash off with a hose, and use a brush for the hard areas.1993 325ic Schwarz/Natur

You can probably do the diff/pig/pumpkin/whatever and you'll be fine. The only thing I could see that might get damaged (and you'd have to try) is the speed sensor that plugs into the back of it.
When I bought my car I bought a can of engine degreaser from my FLAPS and took the car to a RediWash. I put a couple of plastic bags over the fusebox, distributor, and alternator then let the degreaser soak for 15min. Pumped the machine full of quarters and went at it. The whole process works pretty well - I've done it on several of my cars. You just need to be careful around some of the more delicate parts. I usually let the car drip-dry for ten minutes and dry any electronics with a towel. When you start the car up it will smoke a bit with any water and left over degreaser on the the motor and it will stink. Once you drive it around it'll burn off and you'll have a clean motor!-Geno
