    Buffalo Members...

Just moved from Maryland to Buffalo (Williamsville) 4 months ago. I was out in the area tonight and got a note on my car...anyway, I've been to a few meets so anyone who is an E30 person up in Buffalo let me know.

    Here is the note:

              Interesting.

You sound like the kind of guy that would leave THIS http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=124033 kind of note.

                welcome to the buffalo area!

Are you going to be driving the car here in the winter?

If so I would highly recommend going through a good car wash at least every other week, the amount of salt they put on the roads will eat a car up in no time.

Last year I found some good under-car spray to help prevent salt creep called tc-11 car coat. I think it did a good job, it made it through the winter in fine form. Also, a good set of snow tires is a must on all 4 wheels....

If you see this car around its mine :D..

Yea, I wasn't planning on driving my car but buying a used beater and fixing it up along with registering it was too much..

I got the undercoating that they spray and I plan to wash it every other week...today is the day I wash it off.. :)

I live out near Rochester, but that's close enough I guess. (I do spend quite a bit of time in Buffalo during the summer though)

you guys should check out nyspeed, it's the local forum. as far as local e30's go, mine has no motor right now but if I keep it i'll put my s50 in there out of my m3. If I sell it, I'm just going to buy another e30 so either way I'll be out in spring.

graphikrage is also from buffalo with a nice tc bauer. daN on here has a schwarz s50e30, but he lives in VA now and is seldom up here.

mpd 47 on here has an old 325i of mine that he put an m50 into

my buddy jam has my old 2.7i 325is. i kept the wheels, i think it's on vw weaves now

also, christian is putting an rb26dett in his e30 (not sure if he'll ever finish though)

there are a couple more of my old e30's running around as well (I've had a boatload of them).

we had a euro meet over the summer. there are a lot of e36m3's around town. I have one but I'm going to part it out I think
