Auto repair recommendation near Williamsburg, Virginia

I was wondering if anyone living in the Williamsburg area in Virginia knows of any garage that is decent. My car is leaking coolant from around the water pump area, and I don't have a way to fix it myself. If anyone that lives in the area has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it.

I'm living in an apartment without a garage, and a lease that forbids auto repairs, which is kind of a bummer. I'm hoping this will not be a complicated fix, however.

    Thanks!

Did you check if the hose clamp on the water pump is loose?
How about weekend DIY at your work place i.e car port, warehouse, or indoor space?

Yeah, I checked the clamps and other obvious bits that I could reach around the water pump, but it seems like the leak is coming from the rod that rotates the pump impeller.

Unfortunately, I don't have a work place that I can do this at. I'm in graduate school, so I could feasibly do this on campus, but I'm not certain how bad this problem may be. I don't want to risk stranding my car in a place where it will be towed :(

I don't know if you can move your car, or if you have AAA and have the premium towing where the first 100 miles are free. If you do, the best BMW tech in Richmond is Grady Goodman, at BM & V mobile imports on Old Mechanicsville Trnpke. Its not to terribly far from you its on your side of Richmond off of 64 E.

Just a thought! I would offer to lend you my garage, here in Richmond, but then again you would have to move the car, and my schedule is so crazy now, i don't know if it would work.

        Good luck!

It took me about 4 hr with all manual hand tools to replace : timing belt kit , water pump, and radiator.

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep this in mind.

Yes, I'm aware that this is not terribly difficult - I've replaced the timing belt and water pump in this car once before by myself. Unfortunately, I said in my original post why this is not an option.
